The Global Markets Division identifies market trends and mispricings through the analysis of macroeconomic and fundamental data, monetary policies of central banks, political events and their consequences for the world economy.
The division formulates macroeconomic outlooks and enters into short-to-medium-term trades leveraging their own research. They utilize instruments of all asset classes to express directional or delta-neutral bets across major markets.

Michael Zwirski
Head

Michael is currently studying for his bachelor's degree in Business Administration at WU. His early passion for trading led him to join WUTIS in his second semester. His work experience, which spans from Asset Management to managing his own margin account, contribute to the club.
Emilia Kalss
Head

Emilia is currently completing her Bachelor's in Economics at WU, where she also works as a teaching assistant. During her studies, she spent a semester abroad at Bocconi and gained experience in economic research and asset management.
Karin Pernsteiner

Karin has been a member of WUTIS for two years and is currently pursuing her BSc in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, at WU. Alongside her studies, she has gained valuable work experience in Audit and most recently in Sales at Deutsche Bank.
Zouher Debs

Zouher is pursuing a BSc in Business and Economics at WU. He has gained experience across Real Estate & Property Development in Japan and Consumer Electronics. He currently works in Fund Management and will join Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division this summer.

Zofia is currently on track to graduate from her Bachelor studies in International Business Administration at LBS with a specialization in Finance. She has also gained work experience in project management and financial reporting.
