Thank you for your interest in our website and the activities of “WUTIS”. This privacy policy contains detailed information on how your personal data is collected and used when you visit this website, subscribe to our newsletter or apply for open positions via the application tool.

Due to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDRP) enacted by the European Union, we are obliged to give you the following information and inform you about your corresponding rights.

Who is responsible for your personal data?

With regards to the data processing to be described in more detailed below, you have the right to:

  • conformation whether your personal data is being processed, specific information about the affected data and further information about the nature of the data processing itself;
  • correction or completion of incorrect or incomplete data;
  • on request, immediate deletion of data or, if further processing is inevitable, to restrict processing of data;
  • receive copies of your collected data in a machine-readable format and to transfer those data to another controller without hindrance;
  • file a complaint if you believe that your personal data is being processed in breach of data protection rules;
  • object to future processing of your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate reasons to continue (i.e. legal obligations, exercise or defence of legal claims, administrative- or court orders).

What data are we collecting?

Here you can find an overview of all data we might collect when you are visiting our website or get in touch with us. Your personal data is exclusively used for the respectively stated purposes and will not be given to third-parties without your consent. Once the purpose for its storage ceases, all of your personal data will be deleted or blocked, provided we are not legally obliged to do otherwise.

Contact information

If you contact us via e-mail or contact form (application, newsletter, etc.), the data you provide will be used for the purpose of processing your request. Your contact information is therefore necessary to answer your inquiry.

Newsletter subscription

If you register to our newsletter, the data requested for this purpose will be used exclusively to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. If you are no longer interested, you can unsubscribe at any given time and we will delete all personal information obtained through your initial newsletter subscription.

Application data

When applying for career opportunities your digital application data will be collected electronically in order to process your application. We will not share this data with third parties. All of your application data is exclusively used for membership selection purposes and internal data analysis. To lawfully receive and further process this personal data, we need your explicit declaration of consent by checking the checkbox at the application form. You can withdraw your agreement to the use of your personal data at any given time, prohibiting us from further use. However, the legitimacy of past processing is not effected by your withdrawal.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your computer by your internet browser. These cookies process certain specific information such as your used browser, location data or IP address. How do we protect your personal information?

We take all reasonable precautions to keep your personal information secure. Access to your personal information is restricted to prevent unauthorized access or misuse. To make data transfer as secure as possible, this website uses SSL encryption, as indicated by the prefix https://.

In order to protect input forms on our website, we also use “reCAPTCHA”, a service provided by Google Inc. Through the use of this service, we can differentiate whether your input was made by a human, or misused by automated mechanical processing. Unfortunately, we cannot rule out, that your personal information may be obtained illegally by third parties due to technical errors or illegal access. In this case, we cannot be held responsible for any data violations.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, helping us to analyse and improve our website and its usage through cookies. Your usage of our website, your IP address, as well as place, time and frequency of your visits will be transmitted to a Google server in the United States. Through certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield, Google guarantees to comply with the EU’s data protection regulations when processing data in the United States.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of visits to our website and what visitors do once there. This data can also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and of the internet in general.

However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services we may use as detailed herein.
